Hebrew Crash Course
Give Rabbi Gelfand five days and he’ll give you the entire Hebrew language! In this one-week seminar, you will learn the basics of recognizing and decoding the Hebrew language. Come and discover the magic of Hebrew!

Judaism 201 and Beyond
Take your Jewish learning to the next level with this series of classes, focused on spirituality, prayer, Jewish ethics and more. Judaism 101 or any other classes are NOT a pre-requisite for enrolling in Judaism 201-204. Classes will be conducted by the Temple Israel clergy.

The Learner’s Circle / Adult Bar and Bat Mitzvah Program
In this class you will learn Hebrew, continue to build upon your Jewish literacy, and gain the skills to lead our congregation in prayer. The class concludes with a communal celebration on April 10, 2010, when each member is called to read from the Torah. In addition to becoming a knowledgeable adult Jew and a skilled Torah reader, you are likely to develop warm friendships with the other members of the program, in the process of exploring your own Jewish life.
Wednesdays 6:30pm and Thursdays 9:30am, Resuming October 13, 2010 . Open enrollment through November. Books/materials: Members $120/Non-members $150.
