Course Description and Tuition
Elementary School Division
Kindergarten (one day a week – Monday, 4:15 – 5:40pm) $1100
Our Kindergarten is our entry program into our Religious School. Our curriculum includes Jewish music, Jewish art projects, Torah lessons and Holiday education. Tuition includes all books, materials and snacks. Drop off and pick up are from the classroom itself.
1st grade (one day a week – Wednesday, 4:15 – 5:45pm) $1100
Our 1st grade program continues to develop the foundation for Jewish religious understanding aware of the increasing literacy of our students. Our curriculum expands the knowledge of our students in the areas of Jewish music and the arts. Along with Torah lessons and holiday education we introduce foru new important topics: the synagogue, sacred ritual objects, Israela dn basic Hewbrew blessings. Tuition includes all field trips, snack, books and materials.
2nd, 3rd grades (one day a week – Wednesday, 4:15 – 5:45pm) $1100
Our 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade programs are built around our Chai Judaica Curriculum which begins to establish basic Jewish literacy for our children instilled in a joyful manner. The programs also include Jewish music, arts and crafts, and Jewish holiday enrichment. Tuition includes all field trips, snack, books and materials.
4th grade (two days a week – Monday and Wednesday, 4:15 – 5:45pm) $1970
Our 4th, 5th and 6th grade programs are an integrated two day a week program built around our Chai Judaica curriculum and our Mitkadem Hebrew curriculum. Students must attend both days of classes. Tuition includes all field trips, snack, books and materials. A rich program of Judaic studies, Hebrew, Prayer, Music and Enrichment programs are offered on both days.
5th, 6th grades (two days a week – Monday and Wednesday, 4:15 – 5:45pm) $2020
Our 5th and 6th grade programs are an integrated two day a week program built around our Chai Judaica curriculum and our Mitkadem Hebrew curriculum. Students must attend both days of classes. Tuition includes all field trips, snack, books and materials and membership in our 5th & 6th grade youth group. A rich program of Judaic studies, Hebrew, Prayer, Music and Enrichment programs are offered on both days.
Middle School Division
7th grade (one day a week – Thursday, 4:15 – 5:45pm) $ 1150
This class has a special importance in our Religious School curriculum. The course is entitled: Do Not Stand Idly by: A Study of the Holocaust and Moral Decision-Making. The class is in addition to receiving Bar/Bat Mitzvah instruction with an enrichment Hebrew instructor and the Cantor prior to the child’s Bar/Bat Mitzvah ceremony. Tuition includes all field trips, snack, books and materials and membership in our 7th & 8th grade youth group.
8th grade (one day a week – Thursday, 4:15 – 5:45pm) $ 680
This program is entitled: Who Am I? Exploring Jewish Identity through Movies, Music, Television and the Internet. In addition to class there will be youth group once a month from 5:45 - 7:00pm. (More information to follow.) Tuition includes materials, and pizza.
High School Division
9th grade (3 x a month – Thursday, plus a 1 x a month youth group program) $760
Program meets 3 x times a month from 5:45 to 7:00pm. Tuition includes materials, pizza supper, and retreat and/or trip. The program is entitled: "Who Said It Was Easy?" - How Judaism Confronts the Great Ethical Dilemmas of our World. Rabbi Londy and Rabbi Gelfand are the instructors. Guest speakers will be woven into this program. In addition to the class there will be youth group once a month from 5:45 – 7:00pm. (More information to follow.)
10th grade (3 x a month – Thursday, plus a 1 x a month youth group program) $985
Program meets 3 x times a month from 5:45 - 7:00pm. Tuition includes materials & pizza supper. The program is entitled: "Who Said It Was Easy?" - How Judaism Confronts the Great Ethical Dilemmas of our World. Rabbi Londy and Gelfand are the instructors. In the 10th grade, the students also celebrate their Confirmation Ceremony (Kabbalat Torah) and have the opportunity to spend a weekend performing social action in Washington, D.C. In addition to the class there will be youth group once a month from 5:45 – 7:00pm. (More information to follow.)
11th - 12th grades (1 x a month) $270
Tuition includes monthly supper with Rabbis. This monthly dinner seminar will deal with important issues for high school students applying to college and planning their futures as young Jewish adults. These students are also part of our senior Youth Group, ManhaTI.
For tuition paid in full on or before June 15, you may deduct $25 per student.
All fees include $75 per student for the Parent Association Fee and, for our 5th - 12th graders, a $50 per child membership in our Junior or Senior Youth Group.
